Started during my first participation in the world-renowned Oberlin violin making workshop in the summer of 2022, this violin follows model and scroll of the 1703 “Henry Ford” Stradivari, while f-holes, corners, varnish and antiquing are more the result of my personal taste and interpretation. To my great delight it ranked 9^th over 180 violins at the 2022 edition of the VSA violin making Competition, receiving also a Certificate of Artisanship. The instrument was commissioned and acquired by the US based collector Mr. Victor Chou.

This violin is the result of an interesting and fun collaboration with the friend and colleague Adam Winskill, violin maker and restorer based in London; inspired by a Guarneri del Gesù 1740 instrument, it made to the final round of the 2022 Edition of the Violin Making Competition in Mittenwald (D) and was acquired by the Swiss player and pedagogue Mr. Roman Strassmann.

The second “twin”, of which I am equally proud, was acquired by the Italy-based Hungarian violinist Ms. Ágnes Kertész, player of special sensitivity.

One of my 2022 “twins”, copy of the most famous “Lord Wilton” Guarneri del Gesù, it was commissioned and acquired by the wonderful Ms. Muriel Kieffer-Quistad. Having made a second set-up for it, easily interchangeable, it gets played also in its baroque and classic version within the ensemble “Les Musiciens du Prince – Monaco”, founded by Cecilia Bartoli.

The previous violin’s bigger brother, with a 2mm wider soundbox and consequently leaning f-holes that remind of Carlo Bergonzi instruments. This instrument was acquired by the promising student Ms. Lin-Yao Molla.

Violin built on a form coming from my late Master Luca Primon’s workshop, which he had designed starting from the “S” Stradivari model. This instrument belongs to Mr. György Zerkula, talented violinist of the Bern Symphony Orchestra and of the Manuel Quartet.

My first violin based on the Guarneri del Gesù famous for having been owned by Jascha Heifetz. This instrument was acquired by my friend Prof. Francesco Iorio, Concertmaster of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl Orchestra (AT), whose decision made me happy and proud.

Strongly inspired by the 1710 “Leslie, Tate” Antonio Stradivari G-form violin. To my great pleasure, this instrument won the violin making competition “I Suoni del Legno” organised by the Società Filarmonica of Trento (IT), which acquired it and now gives it on loan to talented young Italian musicians.

Copy of the world-famous Guarneri del Gesù “Lord Wilton” from 1742, owned and played by Yehudi Menuhin. This violin was acquired by a music school in Taiwan and gets loaned to its most talented students.

The first violin I built in the odd moments in Trento, during my London experience. It’s my debut in trying to replicate Guarneri del Gesù’s “genuine” style. This instrument is owned by the violinist Flavia Succhiarelli.
